REDUCTION IN GLASS CHILLERS
One of the leading energy sinks in any restaurant or home is the refrigerator. For each glass chiller that is removed from a restaurant in Louisiana, it is estimated that the net CO2 production will be reduced by 26 lb per year. Source: EIA. While this may not be much in terms of the total emissions of the country, we believe every little bit helps!
what does this mean?
How does this affect the final CO2 numbers in my state? First, we encourage you to check out the interactive map by EIA. We're not saying that we can solve restaurant carbon emissions with this glass, but we're encouraged that we can help in some small way toward a global goal of carbon neutrality.
